Cala d'en Serra

Location: Located 3 km from Portinatx, 10 km from Sant Joan and 32 km from Ibiza town. The access from Sant Joan village is taking the road to Portinatx. Once in the tourist centre, take a signposted detour on the left.

Description:  "Cala d'en Serra" is a small Cove, located between the tourist resorts of Portinatx and Cala Sant Vicent. Access is simple to just the paved section, since the last section consists of a dirt slope road. The Cove has 43m. in length and 13m. wide and its sands are medium to coarse grain. Next to this Cove visitors will find a smaller on called "Cala des Puet Vell". Its Horseshoes shape makes them two Coves of calm and crystal clear waters where bathing is not dangerous and the practice of diving is recommended. "Cala d'en Serra" is surrounded by the island’s native vegetation, dominated by the mountains of pine trees and small cliffs.

Services: “Cala d'en Serra” has a small kiosk-bar, and it is also equipped with sun umbrellas and sun loungers. Rescue and lifesaving services, as well as accesses for disabled are not available in the area.

Alternative activities: For hiking enthusiasts, they have the possibility to do the hiking trail number 2 which links Portinatx and Sant Joan.
